Summary:
As a BI Research Manager you will work with internal clients to identify and execute research projects to help achieve business objectives. You will be responsible for managing all phases of multiple qualitative and quantitative research projects from identification, requirements gathering and scoping, through execution. You will also be responsible for managing projects, overseeing problem identification & resolution, analyzing data, developing reports and presentation of findings.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships between Business Intelligence and other functional areas and internal stakeholders
- Understand the overall CTCT business strategy and each functional area's individual strategy
- Partner with stakeholders to outline areas of research needs and formulate plans to fill the gaps
- Translate business requirements into research methodology
- Identify, evaluate and select partners for research execution
- Establish and manage appropriate project and overall research budgets
- Effectively manage vendor team(s) to ensure Projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and findings are presented clearly and concisely
- Manage internal customer expectations including schedule commitments, ongoing status and deliverables to ensure customer satisfaction
- Synthesize analysis results and translate into actionable business outcomes
- Present results and findings to internal stakeholders
- Stay apprised of key business areas and provide ongoing market trends and customer insights
- Establish a central repository of research findings
- Develop a process for ensuring valuable insights are communicated on an ongoing basis company wide
- Inform management of activities/progress via weekly reports
- Participate in annual budgeting process for research based needs
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree required (Masters Degree a plus)
- 5 to 7 years experience managing and understanding quantitative and qualitative research projects
- Must be able to think strategically; critically evaluate, clearly synthesize data to create findings and insights
- Experience educating others on research processes and techniques
- Experience simultaneously organizing, managing and completing multiple projects in an efficient and timely manner
- Strong customer service skills, experience effectively interacting with a diverse team of people and a team player
- Solid communication, organization, and execution skills
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative, able to work in a fast-paced startup environment with a high level of accountability
- Comfortable learning and doing new things, and taking on new challenges
- High level of personal energy and enthusiasm
- Impeccable ethics and strong work ethic
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- RFP/vendor selection experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
