Position Summary:
The Leadership Development Specialist is responsible for the delivery of leadership development training events, programs and initiatives for Constant Contact, an extraordinary and growing company.
The Specialist collaborates with all business units to create, design and execute learning and development programs to meet the stakeholder business goals and objectives and to foster a sustaining learning environment.
The Specialist will have a primary focus on the enhancing and diversifying of Constant Contact's existing Management Development Program to meet the expanding needs of the organization.
She/He will partner and consult with other training groups at Constant Contact to identify new opportunities and skill-building programs at all levels that support the Company's overall talent development and will make certain that the company-wide programs as well as divisional training programs adhere to Constant Contact's core values and goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, deliver and evaluate scalable learning programs in management and leadership development to guarantee that CTCT has well developed, diverse bench of leaders prepared to move into leadership roles at all levels of the organization.
- Develop an infrastructure that fosters the professional development of others and leads to strategic business outcomes and one that is consistent with promoting a positive learning environment.
- Link training and development initiatives with existing talent development systems including job design, recruiting and selection, talent metrics and performance measurement and assessment.
Key requirements:
- At least 5 years of program design, development and facilitation with focus on adult learning methods for both soft and technical skills; significant experience in high-caliber, technology-driven organizations
- BS in business, education, OD/training, behavioral sciences or other related fields
- Proven experience in applying skills in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, customer-centric and technology driven environments
- Must have a breath of knowledge of adult learning styles, blended learning approaches, instructional design methodologies and leadership development models and techniques
- Strong communications skills in every regard; energetic, forward-thinking and creative
- Excellent platform, group facilitation, internal consultant, mediation and leadership/executive coaching skills; ability work on one on one basis and in large group settings
- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals at all levels of the organization
- Collaborative, team orientated style with self-directed, compassionate and independent work ethic
- Commitment to develop industry best practices in learning; particularly for leadership, management, people development and learning tools and technologies
