He/She would be responsible for leading and defining the technology and web product initiatives to align with the strategic business plans. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate their business goals for the web properties into technology requirements.
  • Create user stories and functional specifications for technical website projects.
  • Manage RFP process, vendor selection and management of vendors.
  • Work cross-functionally to establish an analytic strategy that encompasses the best use of the various reporting tools. Additionally establishing the communication plan for distributing results and statistics to the team and organization.
  • Assist in analysis of content metrics to determine overall effectiveness of site's strategy design and usability.
  • Lead the cross-function effort to determine a content management strategy to meet stakeholder needs for rapid updating of select website content.
  • Work with Product Owner to develop and implement a strategic plan for organization's web sites. Includes consulting with stakeholders and leadership to assess needs and develop plans.
  • Work with team members and engineering to understand and introduce new technologies and tools as is appropriate to the meet the changing and growing needs of the business and the key business objectives of the various web properties.
  • Work with team and key delivery agents to understand and refine/implement processes and work flows to ensure continuous delivery of high impact experiences for website properties.

Skills and Experience:

  • B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science, Design, Business or equivalent.
  • Experience in a product management or an equivalent role in understanding and capturing customer needs/requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years web site/high tech experience
  • Experience with specific website requirements including SEO, multi-variant testing, portals, ad-serving, web analytics and content management; experience with consumer-facing, high transaction volume e-commerce sites a plus
  • Experience with web-based applications, the ASP delivery model and familiarity with the design and implementation for scaling high volume systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-directed and self-motivated; ability to operate effectively in a very dynamic role
  • Collaborative, direct style required for success
  • Detail and deadline oriented along with a willingness to meet the needs of a 24/7 environment
