As a result of our continued growth and the success of our marketing-driven business model we are searching for a Product Manager to lead planning, prioritization, and cross-functional execution of an expanding set of strategic internal application offerings essential to the scaling and support of our business.  This role requires a diverse set of skills including strong business analysis, a solid technical understanding of modern large scale web based applications, Software-as-a-Service ("SaaS") experience, project management, and cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a large amount of widely different requests that span multiple internal applications and tools used by our Marketing, Sales, Support, and Finance organizations. He/She will effectively prioritize a backlog of requests, adding new backlog items as needed and driving the delivery of other backlog items over the short and long term time horizon. 
The ideal candidate will have a track record of fostering a sense of camaraderie within and across teams.  He/She will be able to motivate a team to reach for stretch goals, providing leadership, fostering teamwork, and seeking win-win solutions.  Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must, as is the ability to develop strong working relationships with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and a diverse set of stakeholders.  
 

Requirements:

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams; exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Thoroughly analyze business requirements drawn from a diverse set of stakeholders including Marketing, Finance, Support, and Product Development. Collect feedback and requirements for short term issues and future enhancements to our internal applications. 
  • Prioritize work effectively, focusing on short and long term business value. Communicate decisions, plans, and progress. Drive consensus and manage expectations amongst stakeholders and cross functional teams.
  • Work with other product managers in support of new products and existing product enhancements.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering and Quality Assurance resources to successfully customize and implement new features and technologies.   These include custom development applications as well as packaged software.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • B.S. or equivalent. Advanced technical degree or MBA desired.
  • 3+ years of Product Management, Project Management and/or Business Analysis experience; have researched, defined and documented software requirements; 5+ years work experience
  • Experience as a product or project manager in an Agile development environment is strongly preferred.
  • Managed projects to fixed budget and/or timeline.
  • Experience with web-based applications, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications, and the SaaS delivery model.
  • Self directed and self motivated; ability to operate effectively in a very dynamic role.
  • Detail and deadline oriented along with a willingness to meet the needs of a 24/7 environment.
