Actions and Results
- Primary responsibility for planning, organizing, managing, and coordinating projects spanning engineering and non-engineering teams, in particular, projects that involve Operations teams.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills will be required to be successful
- Identify, manage, and communicate project risks, and work to minimize these
- Responsible for the delivery of projects that meet date expectations, achieve the expected results and meet internal quality goals
- Provide appropriate project updates to the Director of Program Management and other levels of the organization as required
- Manage vendors and contractors to ensure timely and excellent delivery of services
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Provide leadership by driving projects through the entire lifecycle, from project instantiation through production deployment
Skills and Experience
- Three to five years experience managing technical projects
- Experience managing Operations projects, e.g. data centers build outs, infrastructure rollouts, large database migrations, etc.
- Ability to lead, motivate and communicate across all levels of the organization
- Ability to build relationships and negotiate with multiple departments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organizational skills
- Experience with Scrum, Kanban or any other Agile methodology a strong plus
- Bachelor's degree in computer-related field
