CONSTANT CONTACT WINS GOLD AT THE NEW ENGLAND DIRECT MARKETING ASSOCIATION AWARD SHOW
Annual event showcases the finest direct marketing in New England
Waltham, Mass. - June 30, 2009
At the 28th Annual NEDMA (New England Direct Marketing Association) Award Show, Constant Contact®, Inc. (NasdaqGM: CTCT), received the Gold Award for Best Integrated Campaign. The NEDMA Awards event honored creative excellence and innovation in eight categories that include print ads, direct mail, catalog, interactive, integrated media campaigns, as well as "DM on a Shoestring". Over 200 industry leaders attended the celebration, which was held June 10, 2009 at The Roxy in Boston. Award winners, selected from a pool of more than 350 submissions, were judged on a campaign's creative elements as well as its results.
Constant Contact's franchise recruitment campaign "Email Marketing. It's Time." was designed to introduce franchisees attending the International Franchise Association's (IFA) Annual Convention to Constant Contact's Franchise Program. The campaign incorporated email, direct mail, print collateral, online and print advertisements, integrated tradeshow booth graphics and campaign-themed booth giveaways. The entire campaign was designed by Constant Contact's in-house creative team.
"This creative campaign caught the attention of busy show attendees and nearly doubled the response we had seen from similar efforts in previous years. It was clearly effective in delivering the benefits of franchise-wide email marketing directly to our target audience," said Gail Goodman, CEO of Constant Contact. "The Constant Contact Creative team produces tremendous creative work that helps generate outstanding results on a regular basis. This award further validates our belief that our in-house team stands with the best creative agencies in New England and beyond."
Constant Contact executed its integrated marketing plan across multiple channels at the IFA's Annual Convention. The impact of this campaign was measured by the number of franchise brands that signed-up for the Constant Contact Franchise Partner program, the increase in email usage by franchise partners, and the number of existing customers who extended their use of the product franchise-wide.
"The annual NEDMA Awards showcase excellence in creative direct marketing in Massachusetts," said Bruce McMeekin, founder of BKM Marketing and NEDMA vice president. "The entries received this year demonstrated truly brilliant direct marketing strategies and the most effective tactics of any prior years' submissions We would like to thank everyone who entered and congratulate the winners on their successful campaigns."
