CLIENT-FACING BRAND NAMES
Constant Contact is a great name to attract your customers (us). It says to me that I can contact my clients as constantly as I like. This is an attractive proposition. However, it is not a good name to put before my clients. It says to them 'o-oh, now they're got me, they're going to contact me constantly. Where's the unsubscribe button?' Can anybody think of a brand that talks to my customers, rather than to me, to put at the end of the emails you send out for me? Am I alone in thinking this? One customer lost is lost forever . . . My suggestion, admittedly a bit lame, is 'Permission Info', with a link (which only business owners would really click on) to Constant Contact.
