Isabel Clark is all about helping people make healthy choices. Through her business, Clark Wellness, Isabel offers individual holistic nutritional counseling, group wellness workshops, cooking classes, and corporate workshops. Isabel started her business in 2005 in order to help women and men achieve balanced wellness in their lives by making positive food and lifestyle choices.

As a holistic nutritionist, Isabel is especially concerned about supplying accurate information. Her clients and potential clients depend on her to be an expert in a field that can be hard to navigate. "Holistic health is exploding in all different directions. There are extremely conflicting messages about nutrition in particular. Presenting a clear and consistent message effectively is probably the biggest challenge, and email communication helps me to do just that," she says.

In addition, Isabel does not have a lot of time or money to market her services; running the business is a full-time job. When she first launched Clark Wellness, she needed an easy and affordable way to get the word out about important issues that affect her clients' health and well-being.

"I send a monthly newsletter that includes health and nutrition articles, recipes, event notices, and special offers. "It is cheaper than print advertising, and I love that the hard part of list management is handled for me, so I don't have to deal with it!" she says. "If I were handling the data myself, I would be concerned about accidentally emailing someone who had opted out. With Constant Contact, I don't worry about that. I can just focus on writing great articles."

When Isabel first started email marketing with Constant Contact, her list had fewer than 15 subscribers; now it is up to 700. "I was amazed at how quickly my list grew. It took on a life of its own!" she says.
