Constant Contact has a no-tolerance spam policy and invests significant resources in the enforcement of this policy. We only allow customers who comply with consent-based list collection methods to use our services. If it is determined a Constant Contact customer is in violation of this policy, their Constant Contact services are subject to immediate termination.
Constant Contact is a consent-based email marketing tool that follows the strictest permission-based philosophies:
Contact Information — All of your emails are pre-filled with your contact information including your physical address which is required by law (the CAN-Spam Act).
Unsubscribe — Every email generated from Constant Contact contains an unsubscribe link, as required by law, which allows your contacts to opt-out of future emails and automatically updates your contact lists so you can avoid sending unwanted emails to those who have unsubscribed.
Identification — Your email header information is always correct because it is pre-set for you by Constant Contact. Your email's "From" address is verified and already accurately identifies you as the sender.
Verification — Constant Contact automatically sends all of your new contacts an email confirming that they joined your list.
Choices — Constant Contact allows you to send both HTML and text based emails.
The Constant Contact Team is always looking for more vehicles for education and prevention to make sure all of our customers are great permission-based emailers. Our customers receive our Email Marketing Hints & Tips newsletter, are invited to an Email Marketing 101 webinar and receive in-product coaching on permission and privacy requirements. Please send any suggestions for enhancements or improvements to firstname.lastname@example.org
