Get a better idea of what your finished email will look like—right from the editor! Finding the right images is also easier; just flip through the pre-loaded images from your selected template. And the addition of an icon at the top of all images accessing the editing options makes editing a snap.

Your editing block is activated by hovering over it with your mouse. Click the pencil, or directly click the block to begin editing. Before
There was a large, grey toolbar at the top of every block. Replacing the images with other pre-loaded images required opening new windows—and more clicks. Right-clicking was required to find all image editing options.

Get new contacts when they're not near a computer
Now
We'll create a QR code for you that potential contacts can scan with their mobile device to quickly and easily sign up for your mailing list. Print it and display wherever your customers and prospects may see it. Once they scan the QR code, they'll be directed to a mobile-friendly sign-up form.
Just click on the "contacts" tab, then select the "Grow My Contacts List" sub-tab. Under "Scan a QR Code", click "Setup Scan-to-Join."

You had a bunch of ways to capture contact info online from blocks on your website, Facebook apps, and at the bottom of your emails. With Scan-to-Join, you have a great way to capture new contacts offline.
Google Analytics Tracking

Easily add Google Analytics tracking to all the links included in your Constant Contact emails with one simple click. On your Google Analytics dashboard you?ll see which emails drove the most traffic to your website. Google Analytics will allow you to see exactly how many visits, conversions and sales your campaign generated. And as always, Constant Contact reporting will show you clicks, opens and contact level data for every campaign.

While Constant Contact's reporting is excellent, it was the only source for customers to view detailed email reporting.
New Customizable Templates

We've added a bunch of simple, professional-looking templates that you can quickly and easily customize to better reflect your brand and message, allowing you to get a beautiful campaign out the door in less than a half hour.
From the template selector, use the “type” drop down menu and select "showcase templates" for some of the latest. You'll find the rest throughout the "type" and "industry" categories.

You had over 400 varied templates to choose from, but not as many short, campaign-style templates.
Add forms in your emails with the free Formstack app
Now
With the free Formstack app, you can create online forms directly in the Constant Contact email editor and use them in your email campaigns to collect payments and donations through Paypal. Just click on your email editor's "Insert" menu to access the app.

HootSuite, a social media dashboard, integrates with Constant Contact's Email Marketing product, making it easy to manage and track both your social media activity and your email campaigns. It features an easy-to-read graph with your campaign stats, including clicks and opens, and allows you to quickly share a campaign on any of your social channels—right from HootSuite. It's free and you'll find it in online in our Marketplace.

If your organization has a page on Google+, you can now add a Google+ button into the body of your emails—just like you do with Facebook, Twitter, Yelp and Blog buttons. It's a great way to encourage readers to connect with you on your new social networking site and an easy way for you to add followers.

You had the same great functionality for Yelp, Twitter, Facebook and Blog, but not for Google+.
Image Editing

Picnik, our image-editing provider, will be closing down in April. Stay tuned for updates as we will have a great alternative in place before then.
