City of Moreton Bay Business Boost Tech Essentials Program Terms

These terms and conditions (the “Promotional Terms”) govern your participation in the City of Moreton Bay Business Boost Tech Essentials Program promotion ("Promotional Offer"). By accepting this Promotional Offer, you agree to be bound by these Promotional Terms, as well as Constant Contact's and Xero's respective standard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference.

 

1. Eligibility

To be eligible for the Promotional Offer, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be a business registered in the City of Moreton Bay local government area with an ABN.
  • You must have never been a paying Constant Contact or Xero customer.
  • You must sign up with both Constant Contact and Xero during the Promotional Period.
  • To enroll, you must complete a qualifying questionnaire on the Constant Contact website here and signup by 5:00 p.m. AEST on June 20, 2026.

 

2. Promotional Period

The Promotional Offer begins on Wednesday, August 25, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. AEST and ends on Wednesday, June 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. AEST, unless otherwise extended by the sponsors. The sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to extend the promotional period. In the event of an extension, the new end date for this promotion will be December 31, 2026. The Promotional Offer is limited to the first 1,000 City of Moreton Bay registered businesses that meet the eligibility criteria.

 

 

3. Promotional Offer Details

The Promotional Offer provides the following at no cost for a period of six months:

  • Constant Contact Email Lite Plan: The Email Lite Plan includes access to core email marketing tools, such as the drag-and-drop email editor, social media posting tools, and basic reporting. The plan's specific features and limits are subject to Constant Contact’s standard plan terms; provided that during the six-month free period (i) total contacts and email sends are unlimited, and (ii) upgrades or purchases of  add-on product features to the plan will not be available.
  • Constant Contact Premium Design Service: This service includes a one-time professional design consultation to assist in creating a custom, on-brand email template or other marketing assets. The details and scope of this service will be provided upon enrollment.
  • Xero Business Edition Cloud Accounting Software: The Business Edition plan provides access to features for managing invoices, bills, expenses, and bank reconciliation. The specific features of this plan are subject to Xero’s standard plan terms.

 

4. Post-Promotional Period Charges and Cancellation

  • After the six-month free period, your subscriptions for both Constant Contact and Xero will automatically renew on a monthly basis. You will be automatically charged the then-current retail price for the Constant Contact Email Lite Plan and the Xero Business Edition Cloud Accounting Software, subject to any other discounts that may be available.

  • Your monthly billing for Constant Contact will be based on your highest contact list size during the billing period and the number of emails sent. Overage fees may apply if you exceed your monthly email send allowance.   • You will be billed separately by each company. Renewal reminders will be sent prior to the end of the six-month free period.

  • To avoid being charged for your Constant Contact service, you must cancel your subscription for the applicable service before the rebill date. You can cancel your Constant Contact account by calling 1800-290-803 or +61 2 7227 0507.

  • To avoid being charged for your Xero service, you must provide a 30 day notice before the rebill date. To cancel your Xero account, you must log into your Xero account and navigate to the "Subscription and billing" section.

  • You will not receive a refund for previously billed charges.

 

5. Additional Terms

  • This Promotional Offer is non-transferable and cannot be combined with any other Constant Contact or Xero offers.

  • This Promotional Offer  only applies to the Constant Contact Email Lite Plan and does not apply to any Constant Contact plan upgrades or purchases of add-on products (e.g., SMS Marketing). Customers will not be able to upgrade or purchase add-on product features to the plan during the six-month free period.

  • By participating in this promotional offer, you agree that Constant Contact, City of Moreton Bay Council, and Xero may share your personal information with each other to fulfill the terms of this offer.

  • After signing up with Constant Contact, you will receive a separate email with instructions on how to sign up for your Xero subscription.

  • This Promotional Offer may be canceled or modified at any time, for any reason, without notice.

  • These Promotional Terms do not replace Constant Contact’s or Xero’s standard Terms of Service or Privacy Policies, which continue to apply to your use of their respective services.
