A four-time Olympic gold medalist and 16-year WNBA superstar with the Indiana Fever, Tamika Catchings was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020. She is now general manager of the Fever and has owned and operated her own small business, Tea’s Me Indy, since 2017.

Catchings is one of our finest citizen-athletes. She was inaugural winner of ESPN’s Sports Humanitarian of the Year, the first two-time recipient of the WNBA’s Dawn Staley Community Leadership Award, and the first three-time winner of the WNBA’s Kim Perrot Sportsmanship Award. 

She founded Catch the Stars Foundation to provide literacy, fitness and character development programs for at-risk youth, and her autobiography, “Catch A Star: Shining through Adversity to Become a Champion,” details overcoming hearing loss, separation from family, high expectations and injuries through hard work, perseverance and faith.
